I personnally owe a debt of gratitude to Steve Jobs for having contributed to my decision to start Digital Collab. With this extraordinary speech.

The iPhone is not an innovation. It is the successful synthesis of pre-existing innovations. Which is the definition of a cult object. And a perfect illustration of the famous quote attributed to Henry Ford: “If I’d asked my customers what they wanted, they’d have said a faster horse.” Think about it: could any mobile phone user have thought of the iPhone only 5 years ago?
I personnally owe a debt of gratitude to Steve Jobs for having contributed to my decision to leave my employment to carry my own business plan. With the commencement speech he gave at prestigious Stanford in 2005 (if you’re in a hurry, it really starts at 7:30, here’s the original text):
Stay Hungry! Stay Foolish!
Whatever view one takes on the person, the officer, on its products, no one can deny thatthis is a life that has heavily contributed to making the world what it is today. Right or wrong, this is a question that I refrain from answering but I personally am absolutely glad that thishas been accomplished.
